Hines Global Income Trust Expands its Portfolio in Northern Poland
(WARÂSAW, POLAND) Hines, the interÂnaÂtionÂal real estate firm, is pleased to announce Hines GlobÂal Income Trust, Inc. (“Hines GlobÂal”) has acquired a modÂern logisÂtics park with an area of over 30,000 square meters near GdaĹ„sk. The propÂerÂty, purÂchased on SepÂtemÂber 24, 2019 from the investÂment platÂform The SEGRO EuroÂpean LogisÂtics PartÂnerÂship (“SELP”), will be manÂaged by Hines Polska.
The logisÂtics cenÂtre conÂsists of two high-class wareÂhouse buildÂings with a total area of 32,237 square meters. The buildÂings were conÂstructÂed in 2013 and 2015, and are fulÂly leased to two tenÂants, which utiÂlize the locaÂtion to serÂvice the Tri-City area. Ĺ»abÂka PolÂsÂka, the largest chain of small conÂveÂnience stores in Poland, occuÂpies 25,500 square meters of buildÂing space. The remainÂing area is leased to DB Schenker, a GerÂman globÂal leadÂing logisÂtics provider speÂcialÂisÂing in comÂpreÂhenÂsive supÂply chain manÂageÂment offerÂing not only wareÂhousÂing, but also freight forÂwardÂing and transÂport solutions.
The investÂment is locatÂed in Pruszcz GdaĹ„sÂki, in the vicinÂiÂty of the Rusocin juncÂtion, proÂvidÂing direct access to the Tri-City ring road and A1 MotorÂway. The propÂerÂty is only 11 km away from the GdaĹ„sk city center.
